Who We Are

We’re a baseball-loving family of four living in sunny Southern California.

David is the baseball patriarch of the family. He was born into a love for the Dodgers, has been playing and/or watching baseball for most of his life and still gets that happy feeling when a new season is approaching. He currently works for Elliptigo as a Mechanical Engineer, along with some part time reporting for STATS, Inc,  but still dreams of being a MLB bullpen catcher.

Nicole is the writer of the family. She blogs at Gidget Goes Home and Simple Organic, tweets as @NicoleakaGidget and is also the founder of Surf Mamas, a social network for moms who surf. She grew up as a casual Padres fan but married into a love of baseball and the Dodgers in 2003. She has a BA languages & literature and an MA in Spanish, but is currently working hard at home as a mom and writer.

Gigi (born May of 2007) has already been to more baseball games and stadiums than many adults (she’s at 20 MLB parks so far). She loves the beach, doggies, and her favorite color crayon is Dodger Blue. She sadly still dreams of Manny returning to the Dodgers.

Brody is our most recent acquisition (born April of 2010) and he’s already being indoctrinated in the ways of a baseball family. So far he’s been to two games and is treated to frequent serenades of Take Me Out to the Ballgame by his sister.
